Click on the + in the top right corner to Create class
Name your class, etc. and click create
Customize your class
-Note your class code
-Generate your Google Meet link
-Change the theme
Select a theme from the gallery
Upload a photo
*Only a long narrow section of photo will be displayed
Archiving and Copying Old Classes
Click the three lines menu on the top left corner
Click Classes at the top of the menu
Choose the class you want to archive
Click the three dots on the top right corner of the banner to open the menu
-Choose Archive OR Copy
Copied Classes will retain assignments as drafts with no due dates
No students or student information will not be copied
Adding Students
For each class click on the People tab at the top
-Across from the Student heading, click the person plus icon
Option 1- You can manually enter each email address
Option 2- You can export the students' email address from IC into a .csv file and then copy them into GC all at once. When students log in to GC they can just click Join.
Option 3- Students can type in the class code that is listed on the class banner
Adding Co-Teachers
For each class click on the People tab at the top
-Click the person plus icon to send an invite to specific teachers to join your class
